Croeso / welcome.

We are Tai Pawb, a Welsh charity dedicated to fostering inclusivity in the housing sector.

We imagine a Wales where everyone has the right to a good home. Too many people in Wales don’t have somewhere to live in security, peace and dignity. Too many people face systemic prejudice, discrimination and disadvantage in accessing suitable accommodation. We are determined to change that.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of background, has fair and equitable access to housing opportunities. We work with our members, policymakers, and communities to eliminate discrimination and advance inclusive practices. Through training, resources, collaboration, influencing and advocacy, we’re working towards a housing environment where diversity thrives.

Come on this journey with us.

We are a member organisation

Tai Pawb has over 80 members made up of housing associations, local authorities, third sector organisations, community groups, the private rental sector and individuals from across Wales.

We want to

Change the System

We want to achieve a Wales where equity and human rights are built into housing policy, legislation, regulation, funding and decision-making in Wales. Designing equity into the foundations of housing and public voice.

We will help shape policy, legislation, regulation and systems design so equity and human rights are built in from the start. We will bring together data, evidence, research, lived experience and practical insight from the sector to show what needs to change. We will work with members, partners and allies across housing to strengthen our collective influence.

Strengthen Practice

We want a housing sector that is more confident, capable and accountable in turning equity, human rights and social justice commitments into everyday practice.

We will equip members with practical, tailored and innovative support and best practice from governance and leadership to frontline services. We will help the sector draw on evidence, data, insight and the expertise of people with lived experience. We will create opportunities for peer learning, shared standards, collaboration and collective problem-solving, to build confidence and centre equity.

Shift Power

We want a Wales where the people most affected by housing inequity shape the decisions, services, campaigns and narratives that affect their lives.

We will amplify lived experience and support people mist affected by housing inequity to shape change across policy and practice. We will involve people meaningfully, ethically and accessibly and support others to do the same. We will combine stories, evidence and data to show what needs to change.

Build the Movement

We want more organisations, leaders, communities and allies to act together for equity and human rights in housing.

We will convene members, partners, leaders, allies and communities. We will support more voices to speak confidently for equity and human rights, equipping people and organisations to act. We will create shared narratives, evidence and messages that help people understand what is at stake.
